The Lord Youngest

In Quarin they were called the Ni-hurenos, the not men. They came with the Shining One Zarazinnya to Naru. There were three peoples.

The Merédur

These were the winged beings whose leader was Méhara. There were only four males, Méhara, his son Hara, his brother Lara and Tarca his cousin. There were also Méhara’s wife, Narah and his daughter S’elorah and Lara’s wife Pérah. Females were not winged. They lived in the Hélans Dru, the White Tower, in the Arélas mountains, high up where they joined the Yannyine mountains.

Méhara was killed by the Eldest defending Zarazinnya. S’elorah married Deranin and after his death, when her son, Selin, was established on his throne, returned to the Hélans Dru to her mother and aunt.

Hara and Lara died in the fall of Ebrinen. Tarca survived because he helped the lady of the House of Abard and the baby lord to escape to Irranya. He fell in love with Arhoiethenya and fathered the last lady of the House of Abard on her. When she died he returned to the Hélans Dru where he remained with the three women, waiting for Zarazinnya to return.

The Dalines

The Dalines, or as they called themselves, the Dalinei, were small cave dwelling people who were the master craftsmen of the universe. Mildur their king was the most skilled artificer ever. When Zarazinnya was murdered by the Eldest, Yatior overthrew the Dalines and forced Mildur and all his people to work as his slaves. Thus it was that Yatior made Mildur create the copper statute which became Yannya. What Yatior did not realise until too late, was that Mildur was playing a much longer game against the Lords Eldest and Yannya was his key to their destruction. What Mildur did not realise is that Yannya would fall in love with one of the Eldest.

Mildur died defending the Lady as Yatior made one last attempt to prevent her calling in the magic and becoming mortal to give the Dark Lord back his Eldest power.

The Erueth

The Erueth are beautiful, musical, cruel and cold. Although their ruling house supported Zarazinnya, when she was murdered and Amunrhoieneth their leader died in the Diadem wars, they changed sides and joined with the Lords Eldest where they have been ever since. They always take the moral high ground and do not understand mercy. They are not nice people. They were given the gift of being able to use the High Roads by the Eldest for their support, but this was removed by Mérior after they tried to kill Yannya. Arhoiethen, daughter of the royal house, fell in love with Malcarious and went to a great deal of trouble to try to get him to marry her but had no more success than the Lady Eldest Félanya, although in the days of the tenth Lord of Abard it was a very close run thing.
